FLEXARBON® is extremely light and extremely strong. But there is a point at which it breaks without warning – much like wood.
All Kerl glasses can be cleaned in an ultrasonic bath. Adhesive residues can be removed with benzine. Please wipe only briefly over the surfaces and do not use acetone or other aggressive solvents.
To fit the lenses to the frame, it is mandatory to dismantle the frame (for instructions see below).
Please be careful not to bend the front open too far, overstretching can cause breakage in the marked area:
If you do not want to glaze the lenses to the frame yourself, our certified glazing partners will be happy to assist you:

Recommended minimum edge thickness 2.2mm
Glass groove: width 0.8mm, depth 0.7mm
Base curves deviating from the support disks can be used, but affect the curvature of the front and thus the pretension of the temple
Caution: Contrary to the behavior of metal, FLEXARBON® cannot be permanently bent or adjusted by heat. An attempt to adjust the glasses by bending or heat will result in breakage.

Different hinge axes are used to adjust the pantoscopic angle of the temple. If there is a mark on the hinge axis, the temple is inclined 2° in the direction of the mark.
The clip-on templetips of the hybrid temple are available in three lengths. The dots below the connection point mark the different lengths of the templetips. The temple ends can be heated and thus individually shaped to fit the wearer.
